Through Non-Profit Governance consultation, the education and understanding of the intricate relationship between the board members of non-profit corporations and the executive management positions will be explained.
Coleman Consultation Services will teach the major roles of non-profit board members and executive management along with the basic responsibilities of the board members. We will demonstrate how to lead effective non-profit board meetings, to develop key governance structure and learn evaluation models for board effectiveness. Major non-profit board and executive issues that include board recruitment, board fundraising, board strategic planning and board/staff relationships will also be communicated.
Clients will learn how to administer a complete board self-assessment and discuss results with the governance board and executive staff. They will then learn how to address these beneficial results in a plan how to make improvements.
